Junior Class Definitions

  • LEVEL 1:

This class takes a fun approach to developing coordination and basic tennis skills. The kids will work on a combination of hand-eye coordination drills, footwork, and basic tennis skills.

  • ​LEVEL 2 :(Players Must Be Assessed Before Enrollment)
Designed for players with prior tennis experience, this class focuses on developing stroke technique, hand-eye coordination, court movement, and rallying skills. Students will learn to keep score, rally consistently, and participate in match play while building confidence and a strong foundation for future development.

  • LEVEL 1:
Designed for recreational and developing players, this class focuses on building fundamental tennis skills, including forehands, backhands, serves, footwork, and rallying. Students will learn basic strategy, scoring, and point play while participating in fun drills and games that build confidence, consistency, and sportsmanship.
  • LEVEL 2 :(Players Must Be Assessed Before Enrollment)

Players in this class should demonstrate solid fundamental stroke technique, rally consistently, and confidently play points. Designed for competitive-minded players and those interested in tournament play, this class focuses on advancing technical skills, footwork, court movement, and overall athletic development. Students will develop greater stroke consistency, learn to generate and control spin, and build the tactical, physical, and mental skills needed for match play. Success in this class
requires not only ability, but also a daily commitment to improvement, strong effort, and a competitive mindset. Students are expected to begin competing in USTA tournaments.

 

  • LEVEL 1:
Designed for beginner and developing players, this class provides a supportive environment for learning the fundamentals of tennis. Students will develop proper stroke techniques, footwork, court movement, and rallying skills while building an understanding of scoring, strategy, and point play. Through structured drills and game-based activities, players will gain the confidence and consistency needed to progress to the next level.
  • LEVEL 2 :(Players Must Be Assessed Before Enrollment)
Designed for motivated and competitive players who have earned the required USTA Orange Ball points to advance to Green Ball competition. This class emphasizes tournament and match preparation while further developing advanced stroke production, footwork, court movement, and strategic play. Through high-intensity drills, competitive point play, and match based training, students will build the skills, discipline, and mental toughness needed for tournament success. Players in this class are expected to bring their highest level of effort, focus, and competitiveness to every practice and every point, every day. Regular participation in USTA tournaments is expected as part of the player's continued development and progression.

 

  • LEVEL 1: (Players Must Be Assessed Before Enrollment)
​​Designed for players transitioning into Yellow Ball competition or continuing to build a strong foundation for competitive play. This class focuses on developing technically sound strokes, efficient footwork, court positioning, and rally consistency while introducing more advanced patterns of play and match tactics. Through structured drills, point play, and competitive games, players will improve their confidence, decision-making, and overall court awareness as they prepare for higher levels of training and competition.
  • LEVEL 2: (Players Must Be Assessed Before Enrollment)
Designed for dedicated tournament players committed to reaching their highest competitive potential. This class emphasizes advanced technical development, tactical awareness, physical intensity, and match performance. Players will train through high-level drills, situational point play, and match-based scenarios designed to sharpen decision-making under pressure. Success in this program requires consistent effort, focus, competitiveness, and a commitment to developing the physical, technical, and mental skills essential for tournament success. Regular participation in USTA tournaments is expected as part of each player's continued growth and progression.

Important Information

All packages must be purchased prior to attending the first monthly class. Any classes attended before purchase will be charged at drop-in rates.

Class Placement Requirement

Enrollment in the following classes requires approval from our Junior Tennis Director:

Red Ball Level 2
Orange Ball Level 2
Green Ball Level 2
Yellow Ball Level 1
Yellow Ball Level 2

Players must receive approval before registering for these classes. If your child has not yet been evaluated, a tennis assessment can be scheduled to determine the appropriate class placement.  If you have any questions about this process, please reach out to
